About this template
Use this contemporary Planetarium Volunteer Certificate to thank volunteers for their time. It suits space camps, science centres and flying clubs, and anyone else who wants the moment to feel official. The colour scheme you see, Teal Observatory, is one of three built into the design, with scattered stars at the heart of the layout. Change a few words and it doubles as a certificate of appreciation.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Awarded to [Name] for outstanding volunteer service at [Event], [Date].
With heartfelt thanks to [Name] for [120] hours of volunteering at [Organisation] in [Year].
In appreciation of [Name], who helped [Number] people through [Programme].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the volunteer hours and dome shows fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Prefer another look? Switch to the Brass Dome or Indigo Night colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
A smooth, bright white card stock (about 65–80 lb cover) gives the cleanest finish. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
