About this template
Here is a modern way to thank volunteers for their time: the Midnight Mountain Community Radio Volunteer Certificate, a template that suits councils, neighbourhood groups and civic programmes. The colour scheme you see, Studio Teal, is one of three built into the design, with a mountain skyline at the heart of the layout. You will also find it under Appreciation on CerShare.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
This certificate recognises [Name]’s service as a volunteer for Community Radio Volunteer.
Awarded to [Name] for outstanding volunteer service at [Event], [Date].
For [Name]: [Hours] community service hours completed with care and good humour.
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the show, hours on air and frequency fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. Prefer another look? Switch to the Valve Amber or Burgundy Bakelite colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
A smooth, bright white card stock (about 65–80 lb cover) gives the cleanest finish. Choose A4 in Europe and most of the world, or US Letter in North America, before you download. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
