About this template
Made with environmental groups, science clubs and labs in mind, this Wildlife Conservation Volunteer Certificate helps you thank volunteers for their time without starting from a blank page. With a map and compass and Bitter headings, it has a timeless feel, while the Arctic palette keeps the colours fresh. Change a few words and it doubles as a certificate of appreciation.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
In appreciation of [Name], who helped [Number] people through [Programme].
Presented with gratitude to [Name] by everyone at [Organisation].
Awarded to [Name] for outstanding volunteer service at [Event], [Date].
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date, hours volunteered and camera traps serviced and the signatures. Prefer another look? Switch to the Savanna or Rainforest colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Bitter and Archivo. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Kufam.
Printing tips
For the best result, print on ivory or parchment paper of 160–200 gsm. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
