About this template
Whether it is for one person or a whole group, the Steel Blue Heart Animal Shelter Volunteer Certificate gives charities, community groups and nonprofits a bright way to thank volunteers for their time. The colour scheme you see, Denim, is one of three built into the design, with hearts at the heart of the layout. It works just as well as a certificate of appreciation or a competition award.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Presented to [Name] for giving time, energy and kindness to [Cause].
Presented with gratitude to [Name] by everyone at [Organisation].
This certificate recognises [Name]’s service as a volunteer for Animal Shelter Volunteer.
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date, hours of care and the signatures. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Colours are yours to change: try Sunny Shelter, or match your own brand colours. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Marhey.
Printing tips
Bright white matte paper of 160–200 gsm keeps the colours crisp. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
