About this template
Here is a modern way to thank volunteers for their time: the Slate Ribbon Community Service Certificate, a template that suits charities and volunteer coordinators. On CerShare it comes in the Indigo Calico colour scheme, with a ribbon as the centrepiece; the lettering pairs Rye with Asap. Change a few words and it doubles as a staff award.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
For [Name]: [Hours] community service hours completed with care and good humour.
This certificate recognises [Name]’s service as a volunteer for Community Service.
Presented to [Name] for giving time, energy and kindness to [Cause].
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the quilts donated and sewing evenings lines. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Rye and Asap. Colours are yours to change: try Barn & Denim, or match your own brand colours. Printing tips
Use a smooth white paper rather than parchment, so the clean lines stay sharp. Choose A4 in Europe and most of the world, or US Letter in North America, before you download. Standard A4 and Letter frames fit it without trimming.
