If you need to thank volunteers for their time, this Home Build Volunteer Certificate does it with a contemporary layout that councils, neighbourhood groups and civic programmes will recognise straight away. The colour scheme you see, Brick & Sawdust, is one of three built into the design, with pennant flags at the heart of the layout. Change a few words and it doubles as a certificate of appreciation.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.

How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the build days and project fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Prefer another look? Switch to the Timber & Teal or Blueprint Pine colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Bright white matte paper of 160–200 gsm keeps the colours crisp. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
