About this template
If you need to thank volunteers for their time, this Community Service Hours Certificate does it with a cheerful layout that youth groups, scouts and school programmes will recognise straight away. Look closely and you will notice a sunburst and a fine border, set off by Gaegu lettering in steel blue. The big, friendly type is easy for young readers to recognise as their own.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Thank you, [Name], for showing up every [Day] and making our community stronger.
Presented with gratitude to [Name] by everyone at [Organisation].
This certificate recognises [Name]’s service as a volunteer for Community Service Hours.
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the hours logged, placements and period lines. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Prefer another look? Switch to the Marker Mix or Teal Board colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Marhey.
Printing tips
Print it on thick card (200–250 gsm) so it survives the fridge door. Choose A4 in Europe and most of the world, or US Letter in North America, before you download. Standard A4 and Letter frames fit it without trimming.
