About this template
Here is a clean way to thank volunteers for their time: the Ocean Blue Heart Hospital Volunteer Certificate, a template that suits hospitals, clinics and nursing schools. On CerShare it comes in the Sky & Sun colour scheme, with hearts as the centrepiece; the lettering pairs Varela Round with Nunito Sans. It works just as well as a training certificate or a certificate of appreciation.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
For [Name]: [Hours] community service hours completed with care and good humour.
With heartfelt thanks to [Name] for [120] hours of volunteering at [Organisation] in [Year].
Awarded to [Name] for outstanding volunteer service at [Event], [Date].
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date, volunteer role and volunteering since and the signatures. Prefer another look? Switch to the Warm Coral or Berry colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Varela Round and Nunito Sans. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Bright white matte paper of 160–200 gsm keeps the colours crisp. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
