About this template
The Mint Starry First Day of School Certificate is a cheerful First Day of School Certificate template that nurseries, early-years teachers and parents use to reward students and staff. Sniglet sets the title and Andika carries the details, with scattered stars giving the page its character. Children can read it themselves: the name is big and the words are friendly.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Congratulations, [Name]! You have been named Student of the Week for [Reason].
For [Name], who makes our classroom a kinder place. From [Teacher].
[Name] has shown real leadership as [Role] this year. Signed by the Head Teacher, [Date].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the i am and when i grow up i want to be fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. The design comes with three colour schemes (Sky Satchel, Mint Satchel and Lilac Satchel), and every single colour can be changed. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
Print it on thick card (200–250 gsm) so it survives the fridge door. Choose A4 in Europe and most of the world, or US Letter in North America, before you download. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
