About this template
Schools, clubs and camp organisers reach for designs like this one when they want to reward students and staff: a clean House Captain Certificate that looks as good in a frame as it does in a folder. Look closely and you will notice a badge and a bold band of colour, set off by Barlow lettering in ocean blue. Change a few words and it doubles as a certificate of participation.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
For [Name], who makes our classroom a kinder place. From [Teacher].
This certificate is awarded to [Name] for House Captain Certificate, [School Year].
With thanks to [Name] for everything you do for the pupils of [School].
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date, house points and the signatures. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Barlow and Hanken Grotesk. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. The design comes with three colour schemes (Kestrel Red, Kingfisher Blue and Ivy Green), and every single colour can be changed. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Changa.
Printing tips
Use a smooth white paper rather than parchment, so the clean lines stay sharp. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
