About this template
The Slate Playful Substitute Teacher Appreciation Certificate is a fun Substitute Teacher Appreciation Certificate template that head teachers, school leaders and PTAs use to reward students and staff. Kalam sets the title and Karla carries the details. It works just as well as a certificate of appreciation.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Congratulations, [Name]! You have been named Student of the Week for [Reason].
In recognition of [Name]’s excellent progress in [Subject]. Keep up the great work!
[Name] has shown real leadership as [Role] this year. Signed by the Head Teacher, [Date].
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the days covered and subjects lines. The design comes with three colour schemes (Hardboard & Red Pen, Slate Board and Mint Board), and every single colour can be changed. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Kalam and Karla. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Playpen Sans Arabic.
Printing tips
Use a smooth white paper rather than parchment, so the clean lines stay sharp. Print one copy on plain paper first to check the spelling and the margins. Standard A4 and Letter frames fit it without trimming.
