About this template
Language centres and exam boards reach for designs like this one when they want to confirm a professional qualification: a modern English Proficiency Certificate that looks as good in a frame as it does in a folder. With pennant flags and Be Vietnam Pro headings, it has a clean feel, while the Teal & Coral palette keeps the colours fresh. Change a few words and it doubles as a course completion certificate.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Registered: [Name], registration number [0000], effective [Date].
Awarded to [Name] on successful completion of the [Exam] examination, [Date].
[Name] is hereby recognised as a [Title], having passed the assessment on [Date] with a score of [Score].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the overall cefr level, listening and reading fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Colours are yours to change: try Harbour Blue, or match your own brand colours. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
Bright white matte paper of 160–200 gsm keeps the colours crisp. Print one copy on plain paper first to check the spelling and the margins. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
