Here is a modern way to confirm a professional qualification: the Burgundy Bordered Registered Practitioner Certificate, a template that suits professional bodies, institutes and societies. Volkhov sets the title and Source Sans 3 carries the details, with a fine border giving the page its character. You will also find it under Membership and Training & CPD on CerShare.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Awarded to [Name] on successful completion of the [Exam] examination, [Date].
[Name] has demonstrated the competencies required for Registered Practitioner. Assessor: [Assessor name].
[Name] is hereby recognised as a [Title], having passed the assessment on [Date] with a score of [Score].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the registration no., profession and registered from fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. The design comes with three colour schemes (Walnut & Brass, Slate & Brass and Steel & Burgundy), and every single colour can be changed. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Volkhov and Source Sans 3. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
A smooth, bright white card stock (about 65–80 lb cover) gives the cleanest finish. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. Standard A4 and Letter frames fit it without trimming.
