About this template
Here is a classic way to confirm a professional qualification: the Burgundy Seal Certificate of Accreditation, a template that suits registries, associations and companies issuing formal records. With a round seal and Sorts Mill Goudy headings, it has a timeless feel, while the Folder Claret palette keeps the colours rich. It works just as well as a training certificate.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
[Name] is hereby recognised as a [Title], having passed the assessment on [Date] with a score of [Score].
[Organisation] confirms that [Name] holds [Certification] at [Level].
Awarded to [Name] on successful completion of the [Exam] examination, [Date].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the accreditation no., accreditation valid and first accredited fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Prefer another look? Switch to the Folder Navy or Folder Green colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Scheherazade New.
Printing tips
For the best result, print on ivory or parchment paper of 160–200 gsm. Choose A4 in Europe and most of the world, or US Letter in North America, before you download. Because of the dark background, check your ink first, or send the PDF to a local print shop.
