About this template
Use this modern Certificate of Membership to welcome a new member. It suits clubs, societies and associations, and anyone else who wants the moment to feel official. Anybody sets the title and Inter Tight carries the details, with chart lines giving the page its character.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
[Name] is a member in good standing of [Association]. Signed by the Secretary, [Date].
With a warm welcome to [Name], our newest member since [Month Year].
Presented to [Name] on election to [Grade] of [Society], [Year].
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the member no., member since and valid until lines. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Anybody and Inter Tight. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Prefer another look? Switch to the Signal Red or Black & Yellow colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Bright white matte paper of 160–200 gsm keeps the colours crisp. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
