About this template
Clubs, societies and associations reach for designs like this one when they want to welcome a new member: a classic Life Membership Certificate that looks as good in a frame as it does in a folder. Look closely and you will notice a round seal and flowing waves, set off by Rouge Script lettering in burgundy.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
[Organisation] is pleased to confirm the membership of [Name], with all the rights and privileges it brings.
Welcome to [Club], [Name]! Your membership is valid from [Date] to [Date].
This certifies that [Name] is a [Grade] member of [Organisation], admitted on [Date]. Member no. [0000].
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the member, elected and proposed by lines. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. Prefer another look? Switch to the Club Green or Regatta Navy colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
For the best result, print on ivory or parchment paper of 160–200 gsm. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
