About this template
The Amber Orbit Science Explorer Award is a playful Science Explorer Award template that teachers, subject leads and schools use to reward students and staff. Look closely and you will notice planets and orbits and a crescent moon, set off by Oxanium lettering in amber. The big, friendly type is easy for young readers to recognise as their own.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
[Name] has shown real leadership as [Role] this year. Signed by the Head Teacher, [Date].
In recognition of [Name]’s excellent progress in [Subject]. Keep up the great work!
For [Name], who makes our classroom a kinder place. From [Teacher].
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line. Prefer another look? Switch to the Deep Space or Teal Night colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Changa.
Printing tips
Bright white card of about 220 gsm makes the colours pop and stands up to small hands. Choose A4 in Europe and most of the world, or US Letter in North America, before you download. Because of the dark background, check your ink first, or send the PDF to a local print shop.
