About this template
Whether it is for one person or a whole group, the Navy Starry Science Explorer Award gives primary teachers, nurseries and parents a cheerful way to reward students and staff. With scattered stars and Lemon headings, it has a fun feel, while the Galaxy palette keeps the colours fresh. Children can read it themselves: the name is big and the words are friendly.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
[Name] has shown real leadership as [Role] this year. Signed by the Head Teacher, [Date].
In recognition of [Name]’s excellent progress in [Subject]. Keep up the great work!
This certificate is awarded to [Name] for Science Explorer, [School Year].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate, or keep the sample wording and just change the names. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. The design comes with three colour schemes (Lab, Galaxy and Slime), and every single colour can be changed. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
Bright white card of about 220 gsm makes the colours pop and stands up to small hands. Print one copy on plain paper first to check the spelling and the margins. Standard A4 and Letter frames fit it without trimming.
