About this template
The Teal Banded Most Improved Player Award is a contemporary Most Improved Player Award template that coaches, sports clubs and leagues use to reward students and staff. With a bold band of colour and Maven Pro headings, it has a contemporary feel, while the Lagoon palette keeps the colours fresh. It works just as well as a sports certificate or a competition award.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
This certificate is awarded to [Name] for Most Improved Player, [School Year].
Congratulations, [Name]! You have been named Student of the Week for [Reason].
For [Name], who makes our classroom a kinder place. From [Teacher].
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date, season best · 100 m freestyle and taken off her time this season and the signatures. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Maven Pro and Figtree. The design comes with three colour schemes (Pool Blue, Lagoon and Deep End), and every single colour can be changed. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
A smooth, bright white card stock (about 65–80 lb cover) gives the cleanest finish. Print one copy on plain paper first to check the spelling and the margins. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
