About this template
Use this bright Back to School Certificate to reward students and staff. It suits schools, clubs and families through the year, and anyone else who wants the moment to feel official. The colour scheme you see, Slate, is one of three built into the design, with a sunburst at the heart of the layout. Children can read it themselves: the name is big and the words are friendly.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
In recognition of [Name]’s excellent progress in [Subject]. Keep up the great work!
Awarded to [Name] for perfect attendance throughout [Term or Year]. Thank you for being here every day.
This certificate is awarded to [Name] for the Back to School, [School Year].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate, or keep the sample wording and just change the names. Prefer another look? Switch to the Classic Green or Navy Board colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
Bright white card of about 220 gsm makes the colours pop and stands up to small hands. Choose A4 in Europe and most of the world, or US Letter in North America, before you download. The background is dark, so a laser printer or a print shop will give the richest colour.
