About this template
Middle and high schools reach for designs like this one when they want to reward students and staff: a timeless Secondary School Leaving Certificate that looks as good in a frame as it does in a folder. It is shown here in burgundy, with a round seal, Crimson Pro headings and IBM Plex Sans for the smaller text. You will also find it under Graduation and Course Completion on CerShare.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Awarded to [Name] for perfect attendance throughout [Term or Year]. Thank you for being here every day.
Congratulations, [Name]! You have been named Student of the Week for [Reason].
With thanks to [Name] for everything you do for the pupils of [School].
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Colours are yours to change: try Navy Record, or match your own brand colours. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Noto Naskh Arabic.
Printing tips
For the best result, print on ivory or parchment paper of 160–200 gsm. Choose A4 in Europe and most of the world, or US Letter in North America, before you download. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
