If you need to welcome a new member, this Chartered Member Certificate does it with a traditional layout that professional bodies, institutes and societies will recognise straight away. With scattered stars and Besley headings, it has a classic feel, while the Sterling Plum palette keeps the colours fresh. Change a few words and it doubles as a professional certificate.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
[Organisation] is pleased to confirm the membership of [Name], with all the rights and privileges it brings.
Presented to [Name] on election to [Grade] of [Society], [Year].
Honorary membership awarded to [Name] in recognition of [Contribution].
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date, membership no., admitted and designation and the signatures. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. Prefer another look? Switch to the Sterling Teal or Sterling Navy colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Amiri.
Printing tips
Heavy matte or parchment paper gives it the weight of an official document. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
