About this template
Here is a traditional way to welcome a new member: the Burgundy Laurel Private Club Membership Certificate, a template that suits small businesses, spas, restaurants and gift-givers. On CerShare it comes in the Oxblood colour scheme, with a laurel wreath as the centrepiece; the lettering pairs Cormorant Upright with Montserrat. Change a few words and it doubles as a gift certificate.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
With a warm welcome to [Name], our newest member since [Month Year].
[Name] is a member in good standing of [Association]. Signed by the Secretary, [Date].
Honorary membership awarded to [Name] in recognition of [Contribution].
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date, member no., membership and elected and the signatures. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. Colours are yours to change: try Racing Green, or match your own brand colours. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
For the best result, print on ivory or parchment paper of 160–200 gsm. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. The background is dark, so a laser printer or a print shop will give the richest colour.
