About this template
If you need to welcome a new member, this Life Membership Certificate does it with a modern layout that professional bodies, institutes and societies will recognise straight away. It is shown here in forest green, with corner ornaments, Gupter headings and Montserrat for the smaller text. You will also find it under Professional Certification and Appreciation on CerShare.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
[Name] is a member in good standing of [Association]. Signed by the Secretary, [Date].
This certifies that [Name] is a [Grade] member of [Organisation], admitted on [Date]. Member no. [0000].
Welcome to [Club], [Name]! Your membership is valid from [Date] to [Date].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the member since and life member fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Prefer another look? Switch to the Midnight Gold or Oxblood Gold colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
Use a smooth white paper rather than parchment, so the clean lines stay sharp. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. Because of the dark background, check your ink first, or send the PDF to a local print shop.
