About this template
Made with hobby clubs, makers and community classes in mind, this Model Railway Club Certificate helps you welcome a new member without starting from a blank page. The colour scheme you see, Teak & Olive, is one of three built into the design, with a crown at the heart of the layout. It works just as well as a competition award or a certificate of achievement.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
[Name] is a member in good standing of [Association]. Signed by the Secretary, [Date].
Presented to [Name] on election to [Grade] of [Society], [Year].
This certifies that [Name] is a [Grade] member of [Organisation], admitted on [Date]. Member no. [0000].
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the scale and track laid lines. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. The design comes with three colour schemes (Maroon & Baize, Caledonian Blue and Teak & Olive), and every single colour can be changed. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
Use a smooth white paper rather than parchment, so the clean lines stay sharp. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. Standard A4 and Letter frames fit it without trimming.
