About this template
Here is a classic way to welcome a new member: the Forest Green Wave Board Appointment Certificate, a template that suits business networks, accelerators and chambers of commerce. Look closely and you will notice flowing waves and a wood-grain texture, set off by Gloock lettering in forest green. It works just as well as a certificate of achievement.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Honorary membership awarded to [Name] in recognition of [Contribution].
This certifies that [Name] is a [Grade] member of [Organisation], admitted on [Date]. Member no. [0000].
Presented to [Name] on election to [Grade] of [Society], [Year].
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the term, committee and resolution no. lines. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Gloock and Hanken Grotesk. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. The design comes with three colour schemes (Walnut & Navy, Charcoal & Oak and Forest & Brass), and every single colour can be changed. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
For the best result, print on ivory or parchment paper of 160–200 gsm. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
