About this template
Here is a modern way to welcome a new member: the Burgundy Sunburst Orchestra Membership Certificate, a template that suits music schools, choirs and drama clubs. On CerShare it comes in the Bordeaux colour scheme, with a sunburst as the centrepiece; the lettering pairs Limelight with Jost.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
[Organisation] is pleased to confirm the membership of [Name], with all the rights and privileges it brings.
Honorary membership awarded to [Name] in recognition of [Contribution].
With a warm welcome to [Name], our newest member since [Month Year].
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date, section, member since and member no. and the signatures. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. Colours are yours to change: try Deco Emerald, or match your own brand colours. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Reem Kufi.
Printing tips
Use a smooth white paper rather than parchment, so the clean lines stay sharp. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
