About this template
The Black Starry Postdoctoral Fellowship Certificate is a timeless Postdoctoral Fellowship Certificate template that universities, research groups and academic departments use to welcome a new member. It is shown here in black, with scattered stars, Cardo headings and Jost for the smaller text. It works just as well as a graduation certificate or a certificate of achievement.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
[Organisation] is pleased to confirm the membership of [Name], with all the rights and privileges it brings.
Welcome to [Club], [Name]! Your membership is valid from [Date] to [Date].
[Name] is a member in good standing of [Association]. Signed by the Secretary, [Date].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the discipline, term and funded by fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. Colours are yours to change: try Midnight & Gold, or match your own brand colours. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
A cream, linen-textured paper of around 120 lb text (180 gsm) suits this classic layout. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. Because of the dark background, check your ink first, or send the PDF to a local print shop.
