About this template
Here is a modern way to honour years of loyalty: the Plum Banded Retirement Recognition Award, a template that suits employers, HR teams and colleagues. Look closely and you will notice a bold band of colour, set off by Urbanist lettering in plum. You will also find it under Appreciation and Awards & Competitions on CerShare.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Awarded to [Name] for long and distinguished service to [Club or Organisation].
This certificate honours [Name] for Retirement Recognition Award: [Years] years of dedication and friendship.
Presented to [Name] on retirement, with thanks for a career that shaped [Organisation].
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date, years of service, joined and retired and the signatures. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. Prefer another look? Switch to the Teal & Copper or Slate & Coral colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Urbanist and Lora. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Bright white matte paper of 160–200 gsm keeps the colours crisp. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
