About this template
Made with teachers, subject leads and schools in mind, this History Award helps you name a winner and make it official without starting from a blank page. Radley sets the title and Lato carries the details, with scattered stars giving the page its character. You will also find it under School and Achievement on CerShare.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Highly commended: [Name], for [Entry title]. The judges were impressed.
Awarded to [Name], winner of History Award, [Year].
Presented to [Name], champion of [Competition] [Year], with the admiration of every competitor.
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. Prefer another look? Switch to the Terracotta or Sandstone colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Markazi Text.
Printing tips
Heavy matte or parchment paper gives it the weight of an official document. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
