About this template
Here is a contemporary way to name a winner and make it official: the Charcoal Wave Team Player Award, a template that suits managers, HR and people teams. With flowing waves and Work Sans headings, it has a modern feel, while the Dusk Lilac palette keeps the colours fresh. Change a few words and it doubles as a staff award.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
First place: [Name]. Presented at [Event] on [Date] in recognition of an outstanding entry.
Presented to [Name], champion of [Competition] [Year], with the admiration of every competitor.
In recognition of [Name], whose work was judged best in [Category] by [Judges].
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Work Sans and Figtree. Prefer another look? Switch to the Harbour Blue or Rowing Green colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Bright white matte paper of 160–200 gsm keeps the colours crisp. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. Standard A4 and Letter frames fit it without trimming.
