About this template
Competition organisers, schools and clubs reach for designs like this one when they want to name a winner and make it official: a clean Award Certificate that looks as good in a frame as it does in a folder. On CerShare it comes in the Night Edition colour scheme, with a bold band of colour as the centrepiece; the lettering pairs League Gothic with Source Serif 4. Change a few words and it doubles as a volunteer certificate.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Highly commended: [Name], for [Entry title]. The judges were impressed.
This certificate is presented to [Name] for winning [Category] at [Competition].
Awarded to [Name], winner of [Award name], [Year].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the volunteer hours and families supported fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Colours are yours to change: try Tabloid Red, or match your own brand colours. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are League Gothic and Source Serif 4. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
Use a smooth white paper rather than parchment, so the clean lines stay sharp. Choose A4 in Europe and most of the world, or US Letter in North America, before you download. Standard A4 and Letter frames fit it without trimming.
