About this template
Made with competition organisers, schools and clubs in mind, this Gold Medal Certificate helps you name a winner and make it official without starting from a blank page. It is shown here in chocolate, with a laurel wreath, Rammetto One headings and Montserrat for the smaller text.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
This certificate is presented to [Name] for winning [Category] at [Competition].
Congratulations to [Name] on Gold Medal. A well-deserved win.
Highly commended: [Name], for [Entry title]. The judges were impressed.
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the winning time and placing fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Rammetto One and Montserrat. Colours are yours to change: try Midnight Gold, or match your own brand colours. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Rakkas.
Printing tips
Use a smooth white paper rather than parchment, so the clean lines stay sharp. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. The background is dark, so a laser printer or a print shop will give the richest colour.
