About this template
Whether it is for one person or a whole group, the Orange Starry Creative Award gives competition organisers, schools and clubs a timeless way to name a winner and make it official. It is shown here in orange, with scattered stars, Zilla Slab headings and IBM Plex Mono for the smaller text.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
First place: [Name]. Presented at [Event] on [Date] in recognition of an outstanding entry.
This certificate is presented to [Name] for winning [Category] at [Competition].
In recognition of [Name], whose work was judged best in [Category] by [Judges].
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date, edition and inks and the signatures. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. The design comes with three colour schemes (Fluoro Pink & Blue, Orange & Teal and Violet & Mint), and every single colour can be changed. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
Heavy matte or parchment paper gives it the weight of an official document. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
