About this template
Whether it is for one person or a whole group, the Forest Green Tassel Honorary Doctorate gives boards, foundations and award committees a traditional way to name a winner and make it official. On CerShare it comes in the Collegiate Green colour scheme, with a graduation cap and tassel as the centrepiece; the lettering pairs Linden Hill with Cormorant Garamond. You will also find it under Graduation and Achievement on CerShare.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Winner of Honorary Doctorate: [Name]. Signed on behalf of the judging panel on [Date].
This certificate is presented to [Name] for winning [Category] at [Competition].
In recognition of [Name], whose work was judged best in [Category] by [Judges].
How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date and the signatures. The design comes with three colour schemes (Crimson & Gold, Doctoral Purple and Collegiate Green), and every single colour can be changed. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Aref Ruqaa.
Printing tips
For the best result, print on ivory or parchment paper of 160–200 gsm. Print one copy on plain paper first to check the spelling and the margins. Standard A4 and Letter frames fit it without trimming.
