About this template
If you need to name a winner and make it official, this Best Paper Award does it with a traditional layout that universities, research groups and academic departments will recognise straight away. On CerShare it comes in the Ink & Ochre colour scheme, with a bold band of colour as the centrepiece; the lettering pairs EB Garamond with Hanken Grotesk. Change a few words and it doubles as a graduation certificate.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Winner of Best Paper Award: [Name]. Signed on behalf of the judging panel on [Date].
Presented to [Name], champion of [Competition] [Year], with the admiration of every competitor.
In recognition of [Name], whose work was judged best in [Category] by [Judges].
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the for the paper, track and session lines. Colours are yours to change: try Navy & Vermilion, or match your own brand colours. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are EB Garamond and Hanken Grotesk. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
Heavy matte or parchment paper gives it the weight of an official document. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
