Here is a timeless way to name a winner and make it official: the Classic Midnight Seal Highest Achiever Award, a template that suits schools, head teachers and form tutors. Look closely and you will notice a round seal and a crescent moon, set off by Castoro lettering in midnight blue. Change a few words and it doubles as a school certificate.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Highly commended: [Name], for [Entry title]. The judges were impressed.
Winner of Highest Achiever Award: [Name]. Signed on behalf of the judging panel on [Date].
This certificate is presented to [Name] for winning [Category] at [Competition].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the highest overall average in year 12 fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. Prefer another look? Switch to the Alpine Night or Pine Dawn colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
Heavy matte or parchment paper gives it the weight of an official document. Print one copy on plain paper first to check the spelling and the margins. The background is dark, so a laser printer or a print shop will give the richest colour.
