About this template
Made with competition organisers, schools and clubs in mind, this Certificate of Honour helps you name a winner and make it official without starting from a blank page. It is shown here in burgundy, with a sunburst, Marcellus SC headings and Urbanist for the smaller text. You will also find it under Achievement on CerShare.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Awarded to [Name], winner of [Award name], [Year].
First place: [Name]. Presented at [Event] on [Date] in recognition of an outstanding entry.
Highly commended: [Name], for [Entry title]. The judges were impressed.
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the years of service and inducted lines. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. Colours are yours to change: try Navy & Gold, or match your own brand colours. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
A cream, linen-textured paper of around 120 lb text (180 gsm) suits this classic layout. Print one copy on plain paper first to check the spelling and the margins. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
