About this template
Made with competition organisers, schools and clubs in mind, this Certificate of Honour helps you name a winner and make it official without starting from a blank page. It is shown here in sky blue, with a bold band of colour, Young Serif headings and Josefin Sans for the smaller text. You will also find it under Achievement on CerShare.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Highly commended: [Name], for [Entry title]. The judges were impressed.
Congratulations to [Name] on [Award name]. A well-deserved win.
Awarded to [Name], winner of [Award name], [Year].
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line. Colours are yours to change: try Paperback Orange, or match your own brand colours. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
A cream, linen-textured paper of around 120 lb text (180 gsm) suits this classic layout. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
