About this template
Made with teachers, subject leads and schools in mind, this Arabic Language Award helps you name a winner and make it official without starting from a blank page. With a fine border and Rasa headings, it has a modern feel, while the Date Palm palette keeps the colours fresh. It works just as well as a school certificate or a course completion certificate.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
First place: [Name]. Presented at [Event] on [Date] in recognition of an outstanding entry.
This certificate is presented to [Name] for winning [Category] at [Competition].
Highly commended: [Name], for [Entry title]. The judges were impressed.
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate, or keep the sample wording and just change the names. Prefer another look? Switch to the Teal Ink or Lapis colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Scheherazade New.
Printing tips
Use a smooth white paper rather than parchment, so the clean lines stay sharp. Print one copy on plain paper first to check the spelling and the margins. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
