About this template
Managers, HR teams and company leaders reach for designs like this one when they want to name a winner and make it official: a contemporary Above and Beyond Award that looks as good in a frame as it does in a folder. The colour scheme you see, Ocean, is one of three built into the design, with scattered stars at the heart of the layout. It works just as well as a staff award or a certificate of achievement.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
First place: [Name]. Presented at [Event] on [Date] in recognition of an outstanding entry.
In recognition of [Name], whose work was judged best in [Category] by [Judges].
This certificate is presented to [Name] for winning [Category] at [Competition].
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. Colours are yours to change: try Freight Orange, or match your own brand colours. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Kufam.
Printing tips
Bright white matte paper of 160–200 gsm keeps the colours crisp. Choose A4 in Europe and most of the world, or US Letter in North America, before you download. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
