About this template
Here is a timeless way to put a thank-you in writing: the Teal Banded Patron Recognition Certificate, a template that suits boards, foundations and award committees. The colour scheme you see, Teal & Copper, is one of three built into the design, with a bold band of colour at the heart of the layout. Change a few words and it doubles as a competition award.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
For [Name]: thank you for the patience, the encouragement and the many hours behind the scenes.
Presented to [Name] in recognition of a contribution that will be remembered long after [Event].
Presented to [Name] with gratitude for sharing your expertise at [Event] on [Date].
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the circles of patronage lines. Colours are yours to change: try Plum & Gold, or match your own brand colours. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
A cream, linen-textured paper of around 120 lb text (180 gsm) suits this classic layout. Choose A4 in Europe and most of the world, or US Letter in North America, before you download. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
