About this template
If you need to put a thank-you in writing, this Certificate of Recognition does it with a formal layout that organisations, schools and event hosts will recognise straight away. It is shown here in chocolate, with flowers, Fanwood Text headings and Work Sans for the smaller text. You will also find it under Achievement on CerShare.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Thank you, [Name], for always going the extra mile. We could not have done it without you.
In appreciation of [Name], whose time, energy and kindness helped [Organisation] through [Period].
Presented to [Name] with gratitude for sharing your expertise at [Event] on [Date].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate, or keep the sample wording and just change the names. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Prefer another look? Switch to the Ink & Sage or Indigo Ink colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
A cream, linen-textured paper of around 120 lb text (180 gsm) suits this classic layout. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. Standard A4 and Letter frames fit it without trimming.
