About this template
Here is a traditional way to put a thank-you in writing: the Charcoal Leafy Certificate of Contribution, a template that suits organisations, schools and event hosts. The colour scheme you see, Slate & Barley, is one of three built into the design, with leaves and branches at the heart of the layout. You will also find it under Awards & Competitions on CerShare.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
With sincere thanks to [Name] for [Contribution]. Your generosity made a real difference.
This certificate of appreciation is presented to [Name] for outstanding support and dedication.
Presented to [Name] in recognition of a contribution that will be remembered long after [Event].
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate, or keep the sample wording and just change the names. Colours are yours to change: try Olive Grove, or match your own brand colours. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
For the best result, print on ivory or parchment paper of 160–200 gsm. Choose A4 in Europe and most of the world, or US Letter in North America, before you download. Sign it in blue or black ink once it is printed for a personal touch.
