About this template
Made with emergency services, public bodies and civic volunteers in mind, this Military Service Recognition Certificate helps you put a thank-you in writing without starting from a blank page. Stardos Stencil sets the title and Archivo Narrow carries the details, with a ribbon giving the page its character. Change a few words and it doubles as a staff award.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Presented to [Name] with gratitude for sharing your expertise at [Event] on [Date].
With heartfelt thanks to [Name] for supporting [Project] from the first day to the last.
Presented to [Name] in recognition of a contribution that will be remembered long after [Event].
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the branch, service and rank lines. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. It works in landscape or portrait, on A4 or US Letter, without you having to move anything. The design comes with three colour schemes (Olive Drab, Service Navy and Desert Tan), and every single colour can be changed. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Use a smooth white paper rather than parchment, so the clean lines stay sharp. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. Standard A4 and Letter frames fit it without trimming.
