About this template
Use this formal Certificate of Commendation to put a thank-you in writing. It suits organisations, schools and event hosts, and anyone else who wants the moment to feel official. The colour scheme you see, Aubergine & Gold, is one of three built into the design, with a ribbon at the heart of the layout. You will also find it under Achievement on CerShare.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.

How to customise it
Click any line to change it: the recipient’s name, the wording, the date and the signatures. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. The design comes with three colour schemes (Harbour Navy, Teal & Copper and Aubergine & Gold), and every single colour can be changed. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
For the best result, print on ivory or parchment paper of 160–200 gsm. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
