About this template
Schools, managers and club leaders reach for designs like this one when they want to celebrate a goal that has been reached: a crisp Certificate of Excellence that looks as good in a frame as it does in a folder. On CerShare it comes in the Charcoal & Lime colour scheme, with corner ornaments as the centrepiece; the lettering pairs Lato with Source Serif 4. It works just as well as a competition award.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Awarded to [Name] for exceeding expectations in [Project or subject]. Your effort made the difference.
Presented to [Name] in recognition of outstanding achievement in [Area] during [Year].
In recognition of [Name]’s achievement on [Date]. Proof that persistence pays off.
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the category, period and reference lines. Fonts can be swapped too; the defaults are Lato and Source Serif 4. The design comes with three colour schemes (Teal & Gold, Navy & Red and Charcoal & Lime), and every single colour can be changed. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
A smooth, bright white card stock (about 65–80 lb cover) gives the cleanest finish. Choose A4 in Europe and most of the world, or US Letter in North America, before you download. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
