About this template
Whether it is for one person or a whole group, the Terracotta Typographic Certificate of Excellence gives schools, managers and club leaders a clean way to celebrate a goal that has been reached. The colour scheme you see, Tomato, is one of three built into the design.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
In recognition of [Name]’s achievement on [Date]. Proof that persistence pays off.
Awarded to [Name] for exceeding expectations in [Project or subject]. Your effort made the difference.
For [Name], whose hard work turned an ambitious goal into a result we can all be proud of.
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the consecutive days without a missed delivery, order accuracy across the year and new colleagues trained and mentored fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Colours are yours to change: try Graphite & Cobalt, or match your own brand colours. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. You can also upload a logo or a photo and place it anywhere on the page.
Printing tips
Bright white matte paper of 160–200 gsm keeps the colours crisp. In the print dialog choose “Actual size” rather than “Fit”, so the border isn’t cropped. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
