About this template
Whether it is for one person or a whole group, the Emerald Starry Marathon Finisher Certificate gives race organisers, running clubs and gyms a traditional way to honour players, finishers and teams. With scattered stars and Libre Franklin headings, it has a formal feel, while the Evergreen palette keeps the colours fresh. It works just as well as a certificate of achievement or a certificate of participation.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Awarded to [Name] for sportsmanship, effort and team spirit throughout the season.
For [Name]: most improved player of the year, chosen by the coaches of [Club].
Presented to [Name], Marathon Finisher Certificate, [Season]. [Goals] goals, [Assists] assists and endless energy.
How to customise it
Every word is editable, from the title to the signature line, including the kilometres, finish time and bib number lines. Need portrait instead of landscape, or US Letter instead of A4? Change it in one click. Change the font or the size of any line if your text is longer than the sample. The design comes with three colour schemes (Lake Blue, Evergreen and Dusk Violet), and every single colour can be changed. Add your logo, a crest or a photo and drag it into place.
Printing tips
For the best result, print on ivory or parchment paper of 160–200 gsm. Download the PDF at the paper size you will print on (A4 or US Letter) and set the printer to “Actual size” or 100%. Standard A4 and Letter frames fit it without trimming.
