About this template
The Charcoal Sunburst Sailing Crew Certificate is a contemporary Sailing Crew Certificate template that flight schools, driving schools and transport operators use to honour players, finishers and teams. It is shown here in charcoal grey, with a sunburst, Pathway Gothic One headings and Lato for the smaller text. It works just as well as a course completion certificate.
Suggested wording
Copy one of these lines into the certificate, then replace the words in brackets.
Presented to [Name] for completing Sailing Competent Crew. Train hard, play fair, have fun.
Awarded to [Name] for sportsmanship, effort and team spirit throughout the season.
[Name] finished [Event] in [Time] on [Date]. Every step counted.
How to customise it
You can rewrite the whole certificate; the distance logged and days aboard fields are already in place, and you can delete the ones you don’t need. Text sizes adjust to fit, and you can choose another font for any line. Prefer another look? Switch to the Harbour Navy or Seafoam colour scheme, or pick any colour you like. Choose A4, US Letter or A3, in landscape or portrait, and the layout rearranges itself to fit. There is an Arabic edition too, laid out right to left with Mirza.
Printing tips
Bright white matte paper of 160–200 gsm keeps the colours crisp. Print one copy on plain paper first to check the spelling and the margins. It fits a standard certificate frame or a document folder.
